Hon. Ogbuekwe has a long and distinguished career in public service, with a proven track record of success in driving economic growth and development. He has held a number of key positions in both Enugu and Anambra States, including Director General of the Cost Reduction Research and Development Office and the Project Management & Monitoring Office, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Anambra State on Agriculture, and a member of the World Bank-driven Nigeria Covid-19 Action Recovery Economic Stimulus (CARES) Committee.

In each of these roles, Hon. Ogbuekwe has demonstrated his exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and dedication to public service. Hon. Ogbuekwe is also a highly educated and experienced professional. He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Executive Business School, ESUT Enugu, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He has also participated in a number of professional training programs, including programs at Lagos Business School, Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and Baker Hughes Training School.
