We are thrilled to welcome the newest members of the Vom Old Boys Association (VOBA) as the VOBA '024 Set. The induction ceremony at St. Joseph's College Vom (CSJ) was a memorable occasion, highlighted by the inspiring words of VOBA President Mr Eric Pam who was represented by the VOBA Vice President II, Mr. Daniel Bingel, who spoke about the significance of VOBA membership and the Oath of Allegiance.
The ceremony included the signing of the VOBA Set Directory, with VOBA National Secretary, Mr. Luca Atukpa-Elayo, overseeing the process. Mr. Henry Dakogol, the Head Boy of the VOBA '024 Set and the Overall Best Graduating Student of CSJ Vom, was the first to sign. He was awarded the prestigious Dr. John Onyatikpo Elayo Memorial Prize for Overall Best Graduating Student.
The Dr. John Onyatikpo Elayo Memorial Prize was established in 2017 by the Elayo family to honor the memory of Dr. John Onyatikpo Elayo (1970-2005), a distinguished alumnus of CSJ Vom.
